Adding a Detail

Using the Detail function will create open shifts to be filled on the Fill Shifts page. 


Date: Select the date the detail will be held on and for how many days it will last

Mode: If creating manually, leave as is and fill in the form. If selecting Create From Detail, select from a list of pre-configured templates we have created for the department

Number of Details: Selecting a number greater than one will create duplicates of the detail for filling by different members. If 4 members are needed on the detail, put 4 here

Shift: Select the shift the detail is filling for or the custom hours required

Overtime List: Select which OT list it will fill from

Detail (What): Select what the detail is for and add a description. This will populate the message when sent out for filling to members

Assignment (Where): Select the location and add a description

Vendor: Select from the pre-configured dropdown of the department vendors and include information

Fill Type: If Auto is selected, configure the below two options and set the detail out to fill through Fill Shifts. If selecting Manual, select who will be filling this detail.

Rank: Select which rank is required for this detail

EMT: Select the EMT status required for this detail


Once the detail is saved it will populate on the main Detail table which will either be available for filling on the Fill Shifts page or filled with a chosen member depending on how it was created.
