Overview
The Resource Assignments page is your central tool for tracking personnel reassignments and managing department apparatus locations. This log ensures full accountability when members are moved between positions or stations and helps you maintain a clear record of equipment distribution.
Prerequisites
Admin or Officer-level access
Department apparatus and member positions must be configured
Reassignments must be made within the system for them to appear in the log
Using the Member Reassignment Log
This interactive log tracks every reassignment made to department personnel.
Each log entry includes:
Shift Date – The date the reassignment occurred
Member – The firefighter who was reassigned
Shift Type – (e.g. 24-Hour, Day, Night)
Position Change – Shows previous and new positions (From → To)
Assignment Change – Indicates station movement (From → To)
Create Time – Timestamp for when the change was made in the system
Exporting the Log
Click Export Report to download a full report for accountability, audits, or recordkeeping
? Use this log for reviewing shift decisions, troubleshooting staffing issues, or verifying when and where personnel were moved.
Managing Apparatus Assignments
The other tab is the Apparatus Tracking Table, which lists all department resources (e.g., engines, trucks, squads) and their assigned stations.
To Add a New Truck:
Use the form at the top of the page
Enter the truck's name, assignment date and designation to assign it to a station
Click Add to save it
To Delete a Truck:
Click the delete icon next to the resource listing
This removes the truck from the system and its station assignment
Tips & Best Practices
Use the Export Report before monthly reviews to track personnel movement trends
Keep truck station assignments updated for accurate scheduling and deployment
Always double-check station “From → To” assignments when reviewing reassignment logs
