  • The member must already have an account in the system

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Navigate to the Members Page

  • Go to the Members section from the main menu

2. Select the Member

  • Click on the member’s name to highlight their row

3. Click Reset Password

  • At the top of the page, click the Reset Password button

  • A confirmation message will appear

4. Default Password Format

Once reset, the member’s password will be set to:
First initial of their first name + full last name (e.g. JSmith)

Example: For John Smith → JSmith

What Happens Next

  • The member will use their username and the default password to log in

  • Upon login, they will be prompted to create a new, secure password

Tips & Best Practices

  • Remind the member to update their password immediately after logging in

  • Only users with the Passwords authority can reset other members' passwords

  • For security, avoid sharing reset passwords through unsecured channels
